On the new layer you had made, Now that your area is highlighted, take a brush from the brush pack and start painting in the area at the border of your image. the highlighted section should now include everything BUT your forest/whatever image. Press and hold Control - Shift- “I” (without quotes) to invert the selection. This should highlight the outline of that layer, matching the squiggles and such of your image. Make a new layer, then Hold the control key and select the preview image of your previous layer (the one with the forest in my image). Next I began to try to blend the background into the page, giving it a watercolor edge type of look like in the PHB (With limited success :P ). Paste in the picture, then switch to the eraser tool using one or multiple brushes included in the pack to give it a rough edge. Try to find something that fits in thematically and artistically with the rest of the images in the PHB. The next thing I did was find a background image to place as the header on top. Start by opening the example PSD in the file and grabbing the parchment background layer, copy it, and paste it into a new document. Other Templates.
